Daywise Itinerary

Begin your Char Dham Yatra with Haridwar, known as the Gateway to the pilgrimage. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. In the evening, witness the renowned Ganga Aarti at the iconic Har Ki Pauri (on your own). Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Depart for Barkot via Mussoorie after breakfast, making a stop at Kempty Fall along the way. Upon reaching Barkot, check in at the hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Barkot. Prepare yourself for the upcoming trek to Yamunotri from JankiChatti.

Start your day with breakfast or a packed breakfast, departing at 5 or 6 am for Hanumanchatti (40 km) and then to Janki Chatti (5 km). Embark on the initial Pahad Yatra to Yamunotri, covering a 5 km trek. Optionally, you have the choice to hire a Doli or a horse for the trek (cost not included). The journey takes you through a scenic landscape of lush green valleys, abundant conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and various species of Himalayan shrubs.

Following breakfast, depart from the Barkot hotel and proceed to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, is renowned for its historical monuments, temples, and ashrams. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Uttarkashi.

Following an early breakfast or with a packed breakfast, embark on a drive to Gangotri. Situated at an elevation of 3048 meters in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri holds a sacred presence. Upon reaching Gangotri, take a purifying dip in the holy river Ganges, also known as Bhagirathi at its source, and visit the Gangotri Temple. This 18th-century temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, stands near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi once worshiped Lord Shiva. It is believed that the Ganges touched the earth at this very spot. The temple itself is a splendid 20 ft. high structure crafted from white granite. After performing Pooja, return to Uttarkashi in the late evening. Enjoy dinner and spend the night in Uttarkashi.

After early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive for Guptkashi. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the Guptkashi town. Dinner and Overnight stay in Guptkashi hotel/Camps.

In the early morning, following breakfast, complete the check-out process from the hotel and drive to Sonprayag. From this point, commence your 20 km trek to Kedarnath. Optionally, you can choose to hire a Doli or a horse for the trek (Cost Not Included). Kedarnath is the origin of Mandakini, a primary tributary of the Ganges, and Gaurikund lies along its path. As you trek, fellow pilgrims echo chants of "Jai Bholenath." At times, mist envelops the mountains, gradually lifting to unveil glistening, blinding-white peaks that seem to pierce the sky. Upon arrival, check in at the Government Camps/Lodges. Dinner and overnight stay at Government Camps/Lodges (basic accommodation available on a sharing basis with room-only options; meals can be obtained directly).

Rise before dawn, and after a refreshing bath, make your way to the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek' ceremony dedicated to Lord Shiva in Kedarnath. The unique feature of this ritual is that everyone is allowed inside the Garbha Griha to touch the idol, offering the opportunity for prostration with one's head touching the deity. Following the darshan and puja, exit the temple and return to the Government Camps/Lodges. Subsequently, commence the 20 km return trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Upon reaching Sonprayag Car Parking, vehicles will be ready to drive you back to your hotel/camps. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at Guptkashi.

This morning, complete the check-out process from the hotel and embark on a journey to Badrinath via Joshimath. Traverse through picturesque Ghat roads until you reach Badrinath (ensure crossing Govindghat before 5:30 pm). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After a brief period of rest and refreshments, prepare to visit the Badrinath Temple for evening darshan. Begin by visiting Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath, and then proceed to the temple. The shrine, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, stands at a height of 15 meters, constructed in a cone shape with a small cupola featuring a gilt bull and spire. Return to the hotel later in the evening. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Begin your day with the darshan of Badrinath. Upon completing the darshan, return to the hotel, have breakfast, and then embark on local sightseeing in Badrinath, including visits to Mana Village and Bheem Pul. In the afternoon, drive back to Srinagar via Karanprayag. Srinagar, a quaint pilgrim town, sits at the sacred confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. Check in at the hotel upon arrival, and the remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore Srinagar town. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Early morning, after breakfast, you drive downhill to Rishikesh, a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. On reaching Rishikesh you’ll do the Rishikesh sightseeing visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Dinner and Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, complete the check-out process from the hotel. Take the opportunity to visit "MAA CHANDI" at "CHANDI DEVI MANDIR," located just 7 km from the main Haridwar city. After the darshan, return for lunch at the renowned "HOSIYARPURI," one of Haridwar's most popular restaurants. Following lunch, a mere 10-minute walk will lead you to the "Ropeway" for "MAA MANSA DEVI MANDIR" (on your own).
