Daywise Itinerary
Arriving at Srinagar airport our driver picks you up and transfers to the hotel. Later check
in at the hotel & Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, get ready to visit Srinagar local tourist places . You visit Mughal Garden,
Pari Mahal, Dal Lake Chashma Shahi Garden, Hazrat Bal Masjid, Sankaracharya Temple etc.
After that you go back to the hotel & overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast today, check out from your Srinagar hotel and get ready to proceed to
Sonamarg - a most beautiful drive from Srinagar. Sonamarg is 98 kms from Srinagar. It will
take about 2.5 hours to reach Sonamarg. Sonamarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. This
is where the territory of Ladakh starts. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level.
Sonamarg is absolutely true to its name, which means 'Meadow of Gold'. The moment you
enter Sonamarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain
that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonamarg
has the loveliest flower collection in Jammu and Kashmir.
After breakfast today, proceed towards Gulmarg (52 km). Upon reaching Gulmarg, check in
to your hotel & enjoy gorgeous panoramic views of the location. Vehicle will only drop you
at the hotel and cannot be used for further sightseeing due to union issues in Gulmarg. You
will need to take a horse/pony or ATV bike by paying directly for any sightseeing. You can
enjoy pony rides to Maharani Temple & St. Mary's Church (at your own cost). A Gondola
ride (cable car) is recommended, which takes you till Kongdori (Phase 1) & Apharwat Peak
(Phase 2) which is at one of the highest altitudes in Asia.
Later in the afternoon , returned to Srinagar & stayed overnight at a houseboat.
After breakfast & check out from the houseboat, our driver picks up you and transfers to
Pahalgam . On the way you will visit Doodhpathri. The name “doodhpathri” means Valley
of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani
has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows, to offer
prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out. Later
check in at the hotel and get ready to explore Pahalgam. Overnight stay at Pahalgam.
After breakfast, get ready to explore Pahalgam. You visit Aru Valley , Betab Valley,
Baisaran & Chandanwadi (on your own). After complete sightseeing then you go back to
your hotel & overnight stay at Pahalgam.
After breakfast & check out from the hotel, our driver picks you up and transfers to
Srinagar airport for your final departure.
