Legend has it that Princess Sita sought refuge in the Ravana Ella Cave, located behind the waterfall, when kidnapped by Ravana. The pool formed by the falls is also associated with the bathing place of Rama’s queen. Next, we'll visit Little Adam’s Peak, an easily accessible 30-minute climb with well-maintained pathways. The peak gained popularity for the "sacred footprint" or Sri Pada, believed to belong to Buddha, Shiva, Adam, or St. Thomas. After the hike, relish the breathtaking view from Ella Gap before returning to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Kandy.
